Maya has received $1,220 from 8 fans this season.
Maya runs the 100m and 200m on the Diamond League circuit. Personal bests of 10.92 and 22.18 put her in finals-contention at every major meet. She came up through the Nigerian junior circuit before moving to London on a development contract at 19, and now splits her training year between Lagos in the winter and London in the spring. Her style is built around the start — coaches at the camp call her drive phase the cleanest in the field — and a fast curve that's been the difference in the 200m. She's twice run sub-22.30 in the back half of the year, both season-best performances. 2026 is the year of the World Championships in Tokyo, and Maya has been point-blank about the goal: a sub-10.90 100m and a senior global final.
